Connection can be made without fusion work or coating removal work, reducing construction time! A mechanical joint that allows flange-less connection of high-density polyethylene pipes and internally and externally coated steel pipes!
No disassembly required, easy to connect!
Introducing the "Suppon Joint" series of mechanical joints!
The product we are introducing is the "Suppon MPX MP-D." It is a mechanical joint for connecting different types of pipes, allowing for a switch from high-density polyethylene pipes (ISO outer diameter) to internally and externally coated steel pipes (VD pipes and PD pipes).
On the high-density polyethylene pipe side, it features a mechanical joint that requires no in-core or disassembly for connection. There is no need for electric fusion work or preparation of fusion equipment.
On the internally and externally coated steel pipe side (VD pipes and PD pipes), there is no need for special tasks such as threading or coating removal. The mechanical method simply involves inserting and tightening into the joint socket, significantly reducing the time required for connection.
Additionally, since the pipe type switching section is flange-less, the risk of water leakage from the flange area is minimized, enhancing safety aspects such as earthquake resistance.
It can slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing pipes with new ones. During renovation work, such as replacing buried coated steel pipes in facility exteriors with new high-density polyethylene pipes, it can be utilized at the pipe type switching points with existing pipes.
When connecting different types of pipes, such as high-density polyethylene pipes (ISO outer diameter) and internally and externally coated steel pipes (VD pipes and PD pipes), please give it a try!
