The "Suppon MPX MP-V" joint is useful when switching from high-density polyethylene pipes (ISO outer diameter) to steel pipes. On the high-density polyethylene side, there is no need for an in-core, disassembly, or electric fusion work, allowing for smooth construction operations. Since there is no cooling time, water can be passed through immediately, significantly reducing construction time. Additionally, on the steel pipe side, mechanical joining eliminates the need for threading or flange welding. Construction can begin immediately after cutting the steel pipe. Since the pipe type switching section does not involve flange connections, the risk of leakage from the flange area is reduced, enhancing safety in terms of earthquake resistance and other factors. It is also possible to slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing and newly installed pipes. This can be utilized for repairs or renovations of aging piping systems at the connection points with existing pipes. If removal is necessary, it can be easily done by simply loosening the installed bolts and nuts.
