Landslide prevention case study by "Unit Net" 2

Conditions during heavy rain disasters at unit net construction sites.

Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Haki Hoshimaru, Shimizu Moto District From July 5 to 6, 2017, due to the inflow of warm and very humid air towards the stationary rainy front near the Tsushima Strait, a linear precipitation zone was formed and maintained, resulting in extremely heavy rain in the same location. This led to record-breaking rainfall in the northern Kyushu region and caused a heavy rain disaster. In Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where this heavy rain disaster occurred, unit nets were adopted and constructed in 2014 as part of a steep slope collapse prevention project. You can view the situation near the unit net construction site immediately after the disaster on the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan's YouTube account. The back side of the three-story building (elementary school) shown around 1:40 in the video below is the site where the unit net method was implemented. Despite numerous landslides occurring in the surrounding mountains, the area where the unit net method was applied did not experience any landslides. D-Lite D Board Method ~ 3M × DAIKEN ~

Next-generation D-board (wall panel) construction method that balances design quality and processability like wood [non-combustible certification obtained].

The D Board method involves laminating 3M's 3M TM Di-Noc TM film onto a non-combustible substrate in the factory and then installing it on walls at the construction site. The Dailight D Board method uses a non-combustible material called 'Dailight,' made from DAIKEN's mineral fibers and volcanic ash glass materials, as the substrate. *Please refer to the materials below. 【Conventional D Board Method】 By manufacturing all boards in the factory and installing the completed boards, on-site work can be made more efficient. Since processing boards on-site is difficult, precise pre-measurement is necessary for board production. 【Dailight D Board Method】 Layout and board production are done based on drawings. Dailight has very high workability, allowing for on-site processing such as cutting edge boards and touch-up painting, which reduces the pre-measurement process and significantly shortens the overall delivery time. Since there is no film application work on-site, it is also recommended for customers who have never used the conventional D Board method!

Factory installation / D-board method × on-site installation [Comparison video digest]

This is a video digest comparing the work time and finish between the factory-applied D-board method using the highly processable non-combustible base material Dailight and the on-site application.

【Comparison of Factory Application / D Board Method and On-Site Application Method in Video】 The comparison video digest presented in this content illustrates the differences in workability between the method of applying 3M TM Di-Noc TM film wrapped on all sides in a factory before installation on-site (Factory Application / D Board Method) and the method of applying 3M TM Di-Noc TM film on-site after first installing the calcium silicate board (On-Site Application). Using panels approximately the size of A4, we compare the differences in work time, processes, and finishes (joints and edges) under the same conditions. In the On-Site Application, in addition to the installation of the substrate board (by board craftsmen), the application of Di-Noc on-site (by Di-Noc craftsmen) is required, which tends to result in longer work times. On the other hand, when using panels with 3M TM Di-Noc TM film applied in the factory, the focus on-site is primarily on panel installation, simplifying the process. Furthermore, if the base material of the D Board used here is "Dailight D Board," which utilizes the workability of the non-combustible base material Dailight, it can be proposed as a D Board method that allows for easier on-site adjustments by carpenters and decorative panel craftsmen. Please use this as a comparison content to consider the adoption of methods and selection of base materials.

SS Mall Method of Mud Dense Propulsion Construction Technique

Low thrust for long distances and sharp curves! Compatible with a wide range of soil types from soft ground to gravel layers!

The "SS Small Method" is a construction technique that reduces the external resistance value of pipes by filling and pressurizing the tail void with high-concentration mud water, enabling long-distance and sharp curve thrusting. Due to the favorable pressure balance provided by the high-concentration mud water, the impact on the ground is extremely low compared to other methods, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of soil types from soft ground to cobble layers. The thrusting equipment is compact, making it possible to work in narrow temporary yards, and it does not require auxiliary methods other than for launching and arrival, resulting in high economic efficiency. 【Features】 ■ Achieves long-distance and sharp curve thrusting ■ Accommodates a wide range of soil types from soft ground to cobble layers ■ Fluid is transported and discharged from inside the machine to outside using a vacuum suction device ■ Compact thrusting equipment allows for construction in narrow temporary yards ■ Systematizes the process from excavation to solidification treatment *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Environmentally-friendly mud-based propulsion method "Success Mall Method"

Improving environmental issues while leveraging the advantages of conventional construction methods! Capable of handling large boulders, rolling stones, and bedrock!

The "Success Small Method" is a construction technique that leverages the advantages of traditional mud slurry and earth pressure pushing methods (long distance, gravel compatibility, sharp curves, space-saving yards, etc.) while improving issues related to resource and work environments, and simultaneously pursuing a reduction in total costs. Traditionally, all the mud generated from excavation was disposed of off-site, but from an environmental perspective, we have developed a continuous soil classification device with a shower function (Master R) as a method to minimize the absolute amount discharged off-site. With various face plate adaptations, it can also handle large gravel, boulders, and bedrock. It has high torque, allowing for primary crushing with the face plate and secondary crushing with a cone crusher, enabling continuous soil discharge. 【Features】 ■ Long distance, gravel compatibility, sharp curves, space-saving yards ■ Improvement of resource and work environment issues ■ Continuous soil classification device with shower function to reduce off-site mud discharge ■ Total cost reduction *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

When it comes to construction work, it's the "Milling Mall Method"! *A collection of achievements by obstacle type is currently being distributed.

[NETIS Registered] No worries even if obstacles appear! A construction method that is starting to be chosen nationwide! Compatible with diameters from φ800 to 3000 mm.

The underground obstacle response type mud-based thrusting method "Milling Mole Method," equipped with four special functions: exploration, improvement, cutting, and guidance, consists of three devices: a tunneling machine, a special telescopic pipe, and a special injection pipe, allowing for the precise cutting and discharge of underground obstacles. Using electromagnetic waves, it explores metal obstacles ahead while thrusting and can also improve the ground from within the tunneling machine before and after the detected obstacles. In the event that an obstacle is detected, the special telescopic device can be used to cut through the underground obstacle at ultra-low speed, allowing for continued thrusting. Furthermore, a system is installed to guide the tunneling machine to a designated position within the arrival shaft by placing a receiving coil at that location, making it the ultimate thrusting method that can accurately lead to the destination even in the presence of obstacles. 【Performance by Obstacle Type】 ■CASE-1 Cutting of Fume Pipes ■CASE-2 Cutting of PC Piles ■CASE-3 Cutting of H Steel and Reinforced Concrete ■CASE-4 Cutting of H Steel Existing Manhole Walls ■CASE-5 Cutting of Wire Tetrapods *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
