Ground reinforcement work | Ensuring high bearing capacity and structural safety with Ministerial Certification ETP method.
Ground reinforcement work
The ETP method, certified by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, prevents uneven settlement accidents of structures through high support strength generated by its disc-shaped tip wings and strict quality control.
This document provides a detailed explanation of the importance of "ground reinforcement work" in ensuring the long-term seismic resistance and safety of structures, as well as the advanced technology of the "ETP method," which has received certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. To prevent settlement accidents on soft ground, reliable reinforcement techniques tailored to ground characteristics are essential. The ETP method is a rotary driven steel pipe pile method equipped with a disc-shaped enlarged wing and a triangular excavation auxiliary bit, achieving smooth construction through rotary insertion and extremely high end bearing capacity. It responds to support forces in both the pushing and pulling directions and prevents the generation of construction residual soil due to its no-displacement construction. With a total of 16 sizes of pile diameters ranging from φ89.1mm to φ609.6mm and a wide variety of wing diameters, it can be applied to various buildings with a total floor area of up to 500,000 square meters. GeoTech Co., Ltd. has established a strict quality control system with real-time construction data management and certified engineers, providing high-quality and reliable foundation reinforcement work with assured construction quality nationwide.

basic information
This construction method is a rotary-driven steel pipe pile method that has obtained certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (TACP-0665/0666, etc.) and performance certification from GBRC (No. 12-20). The diameter of the axial steel pipes ranges from φ89.1mm to φ609.6mm in 16 sizes, and the use of 590N grade high-tensile steel pipes (such as SEAH590) is possible. The maximum construction depth is 130 times the outer diameter or less than 63.6m in sandy ground, and 59.43m (or 57.0m) or less in clayey ground. It can evaluate bearing capacity in both pushing and pulling directions and achieves a no-discharge construction method without the use of cement milk.

Applications/Examples of results
It is widely applicable for the foundation reinforcement of various buildings, including general residences with a total floor area of 500,000 square meters or less, mid-rise and high-rise condominiums, office buildings, factories, warehouses, and public facilities. It is also effective for the foundation reinforcement of structures such as transmission towers and tanks, as well as retaining walls. Since it allows for construction without soil displacement, low noise, and low vibration by not using cement milk, it is ideal for construction in urban residential areas where environmental conservation is required and where adjacent buildings are close together, as well as for sustainable building plans that require pile removal and recovery due to future rebuilding.
