Ground reinforcement work | Preventing nearby site troubles with low-noise, no-dumping DM method.
Ground reinforcement work
Low noise and low vibration construction with a no-dirt-disposal technology that does not use cement. This minimizes the impact on the surrounding environment and enables ground reinforcement work in densely populated residential areas that is friendly to nearby residents.
The "DM Method (Double Metal Method)" provided by Geotech Co., Ltd. is a small-diameter steel pipe pile ground reinforcement method that thoroughly considers neighboring areas with clean construction characterized by low noise, low vibration, and zero residual soil. In ground reinforcement work to prevent building settlement issues, this method performs rotary insertion without using any cement milk, completely eliminating the discomfort of muddy water and the generation of construction residual soil. There is no concern about dirtying the surrounding area or the front road, and the costs associated with residual soil disposal and transportation can be significantly reduced. Due to its quiet design that minimizes noise and vibration, it can smoothly complete work without causing neighborhood troubles, even in densely populated residential areas or quiet neighborhoods where the distance to neighboring properties is very close. The large tip wings made of ductile cast iron, fixed with bolts, achieve high tip support strength and are based on reliable technical standards that have obtained GBRC performance certification (No. 10-01). Through manufacturing management at its own factory, a construction system by certified contractors nationwide, and tracking management of insertion data using construction management devices, we deliver high-quality foundation construction with low environmental impact and a reliable ground guarantee.

basic information
The General Incorporated Foundation Japan Architecture Comprehensive Testing Institute has obtained the GBRC performance certification (No. 10-01). It is a structure that joins a steel pipe (STK400) with a main axis diameter of 101.6 mm and an expanded wing made of ductile cast iron (FOD450A) with fixed bolts. The applicable ground is sandy soil or clay with an equivalent N value of 5 to 15, and the maximum construction depth can reach 130 times the axis diameter (13.2 m) from the construction ground surface. Since no cement is used, it enables clean construction with no soil displacement, low noise, and low vibration.

Applications/Examples of results
It is ideal for single-family homes, apartments, and stores with three floors or fewer, a height of 13 meters or less, an eaves height of 9 meters or less, and a total floor area of 500 square meters or less, as well as for the foundation reinforcement of retaining walls with a height of 3.5 meters or less. It demonstrates strong effectiveness in densely populated residential areas where you want to prevent complaints from neighbors due to noise and vibration during construction, in extremely narrow sites with very close property boundaries, and in urban sites where it is difficult to store or transport excess soil. This reinforcement technology is chosen by construction companies and clients who prioritize consideration for neighboring residents and maintaining a clean site environment.
