Ground reinforcement work for residential construction | Crosswing column method
Cross Swing Column Method
We enhance the safety of homes with high-precision ground reinforcement that has obtained GBRC performance certification.
In the residential construction industry, a solid foundation is required to ensure the long-term safety and durability of buildings. Particularly in Japan, where natural disasters such as earthquakes are frequent, the stability of the ground is extremely important for enhancing the seismic resistance of structures. Differential settlement and liquefaction of the ground increase the risk of damage and collapse of buildings. Our Crosswing Column Method is a reliable deep mixing treatment method that has obtained the Building Technical Performance Certification (GBRC Certification) from the General Incorporated Foundation Japan Architectural Research Institute, and is necessary to support the safety of residential buildings. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Ground improvement for new residential buildings - Ground reinforcement aimed at enhancing seismic resistance - Construction on soft ground or land with liquefaction risk 【Effects of Implementation】 - Reduction of the risk of differential settlement in buildings - Improvement of the stability of buildings against earthquakes - Maintenance of long-term durability of buildings

basic information
【Features】 - A slurry-based mechanical stirring deep mixing treatment method that has obtained GBRC performance certification. - Achieves stable stirring performance unaffected by soil type through a patented, uniquely developed mixing and stirring device. - Demonstrated high quality with a coefficient of variation of 25% or less for sandy soil, clayey soil, and loam. - Small quality control surcharge coefficient, suppressing excessive material usage. - By adopting "Inspection Method A" as a principle, rigorous quality inspections are conducted at minimal cost. 【Our Strengths】 Geotech provides "total ground services," offering a one-stop solution for all ground-related tasks, including ground surveys and reinforcement design/construction for new buildings, settlement correction work for existing structures, and soil contamination investigations. With extensive experience and reliable technology, we create the future of cities from the ground up.

Applications/Examples of results
It is suitable for sandy soil, clayey soil, and loam as applicable ground, making it ideal for ground reinforcement measures for a wide variety of structures, including all buildings, retaining walls, and various constructions. It is also widely adaptable to small-scale buildings that meet all conditions such as mid-rise buildings, steel towers, various constructions, and those with three stories or fewer above ground, a maximum height of 13 meters, a eave height of 9 meters or less, and a total floor area of 500 m² or less, as well as retaining walls under 3.5 meters in height. Depending on the site conditions, construction machinery (10-ton and 15-ton class) and plants can be selected from small to large sizes, allowing for flexible construction results that are not affected by narrow sites or adjacent environments. Depending on the ground conditions, it is possible to propose shortening construction periods and reducing costs by supporting at depths shallower than that of bearing piles.
