[3D Barrier Implementation Case] Management of Separation Between Heavy Machinery and High Voltage Lines During Factory Construction
Construction Field 3D Monitoring System [3D Barrier]
Management of the distance between heavy machinery and high-voltage lines during foundation work, steel frame construction, and the transportation of other materials associated with factory construction.
■Purpose and Evaluation of the 3D Barrier Introduction In the construction of a new factory, a 3D barrier was introduced to manage the distance from high-voltage lines for the use of heavy machinery such as crawler cranes and pile drivers that require work at heights. Previously, monitoring had to be done manually through visual checks or with a transit, but with the 3D barrier, the management area can be freely set, allowing for efficient and safe work. In particular, the system that immediately alerts with an alarm and patrol light when entering the danger zone (11m from the high-voltage line plus a 1m margin) has contributed to a sense of security.

basic information
■Systematizing visual monitoring! Supporting the improvement of safety on site. Traditionally, monitoring such as crane contact management was done visually, but the 3D Barrier systematizes monitoring using crane position information and a unique system, supporting the enhancement of safety on site. ■Set areas freely to prevent the crane's tip from entering dangerous locations. You can create areas freely using three-dimensional coordinates. Areas can be set in three stages. ■Install an in-vehicle monitor and warning light in the crane operator's room to visualize safety. The in-vehicle monitor allows the operator to check the current position from the operator's room. The warning light is linked to the set area and notifies with three levels of alarms. ■Measurement screen compatible with 3D display. New features will be added in April 2024. The measurement screen and functions have evolved! 【Measurement Screen】 - Switch between 2D/3D display - Import CAD drawings 【New Features Added in April 2024】 - Virtual measurement point addition feature - Screenshot feature - Operation history confirmation feature - Alarm email sending feature
