The rear-mounted collision prevention assistance system "Mobileye 580" has been enhanced with a data output function for research and development purposes.
The "Mobileye 580" is an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) equipped with Mobileye's image processing chip EyeQ4. It is an aftermarket product designed primarily to prevent frontal collision accidents in existing vehicles. It detects potential dangers in front of the vehicle with wide-ranging and high precision using images from the mounted camera and vehicle speed, and warns the driver with alarm sounds and icon displays. Its main functions include five types of alerts: "Collision Warning," "Low-Speed Rear Collision Warning," "Following Distance Warning," "Lane Departure Warning," and "Pedestrian Warning," as well as "Speed Limit Sign Recognition." The EyeQ4 chip installed in the "Mobileye 580" is an advanced image processing chip developed for use in advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous driving systems, and it has been widely adopted in commercially available vehicles both domestically and internationally. The research and development product "Mobileye 580/Extended Output Specification" implements a function to output EyeQ4 analysis information externally, in addition to the standard alert functions.
