Robot-cultivated rice into rice flour "Raifun"

On October 4, 2024 (Friday), our Executive Director Junichi Setoguchi will speak at the "NEXT Kansai Innovation Meeting 2024 - 'Agriculture' x 'Future' -" hosted by the Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry. Today, the aging of agricultural workers and the lack of successors are major factors contributing to the expansion of abandoned farmland, which has become a significant issue. This trend is particularly pronounced in hilly and mountainous areas. At Temzac, we are challenging the labor-saving of agriculture through "group robots" and aiming to build services that are "remote" and "require little effort" by utilizing robots. This time, under the title "Challenge to Suppress the Expansion of Abandoned Farmland through Agriculture with WORKROID," I will discuss our efforts toward labor-saving using robotic technology. We look forward to your participation. ■ Target Audience: Small and medium-sized enterprises, venture companies, mid-sized and large corporations, universities, research institutions, local governments, industrial support organizations / technical support organizations, financial institutions, and experts (lawyers, patent attorneys, etc.) interested in technology collaboration and open innovation based on seeds. ■ Organized by: Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Kinki Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
