At Hospital #K, which was built 30 years ago, deterioration due to red rust in the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping using galvanized steel pipes (SGP) has progressed. To prevent leaks, a red rust prevention piping extension device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. Before installation, water samples were taken from the circulating air conditioning chilled and hot water, revealing that the total iron content in the water was 3.6 mg/l, indicating significant corrosion from red rust within the piping.
