Centralizing and sharing a large amount of disaster information: 'Rapid decision-making comes from information.'
Transitioning from the limitations of "whiteboards" and "poster paper" during disasters to "disaster response solutions." In light of the frequent disasters occurring recently, it has become urgent to reassess the reliance on analog methods for information transmission and sharing. Misleading initial actions during a disaster can lead to delays in response and recovery, posing the risk of falling into irretrievable situations. Solutions that are individually crafted or equipped with multiple functions may not work effectively in critical moments. Therefore, it is necessary for the disaster response system to be usable by everyone, and it can be said that functions requiring expertise are extremely minimized. Additionally, there are examples of utilizing such systems not only for information management during disasters but also as a foundation for information sharing in daily operations.

Detailed information
-
Recently, with the frequent occurrence of earthquakes, wind and flood damage, viral infections, and various other disasters and emergencies, the importance of corporate BCP (Business Continuity Plan) measures has been increasing. Disaster Net supports the activities that each person in the disaster response headquarters should undertake, starting from information gathering at the time of a disaster, to on-site requests and reports on the rapidly changing situation, through cloud services. Each person in charge can access only the information relevant to them and can focus on urgent measures required on-site. Additionally, while the disaster response headquarters is busy with on-site responses, reports to upper management can be made by allowing them to view the information collected by Disaster Net, enabling them to grasp the entire situation and allowing the disaster response headquarters to concentrate on on-site responses. Yamada Denki holds BCP seminars several times a year, and thanks to this, we have been fully booked each time. We also announce these seminars in publications such as the Nikkei newspaper, but if you contact our corporate business division, we will provide you with further information.
