An evolved hydraulic tensioner that overcomes the challenges of conventional tensioners, such as "too heavy," "does not fit in narrow spaces," and "oil leakage due to repeated use."
The hydraulic bolt tensioner from "Boltight," a member of the Nord-Lock Group, was born as an evolved version re-invented by the engineer Fred Heaton, who developed the tensioner itself, to overcome the challenges faced by the tensioner. These challenges include common disadvantages of hydraulic tools like tensioners, such as being "too heavy and difficult to work with," "leaking oil after repeated use," and "not being installable in confined spaces." All of Boltight's tensioners have been significantly lightweighted to the extreme, using in-house developed bridges and seals to greatly reduce the weight of the tensioner. Additionally, the durability for repeated use has been greatly improved with technologies such as in-house developed seals. Furthermore, we can flexibly customize the shape and size for areas where space constraints prevent application, delivering them with the same lead time as standard products.
