DCJ Box Culvert "Seismic Resistant Joint Box Culvert"

A box culvert equipped with a special rubber ring at the joint section to enhance seismic performance.

■There are two types, K-type and T-type, depending on the required performance. 【K-type】 It has water-tightness that can withstand a water pressure of 0.06 MPa under level 2 seismic motion in non-liquefiable, non-inclined ground conditions. 【T-type】 It has water-tightness that can withstand a water pressure of 0.06 MPa under level 2 seismic motion. ■By absorbing ground displacement at each joint of the product, it is possible to reduce the stress generated in the structure and minimize the amount of pull-out and bending angle occurring at each joint. ■The special rubber ring has a two-layer structure, with soft rubber covered by hard rubber on the outside, providing excellent followability, compression recovery, and wear resistance. ■High water-tightness can be achieved with the special rubber ring alone, eliminating the need for internal joint work.
