Traditional concrete foundation methods typically involve extensive excavation of the ground and the transportation of foundation blocks using heavy machinery. In contrast, the Pin Foundation method does not require heavy machinery and does not necessitate significant excavation of the ground surface. This method is ideal for foundations in locations where heavy machinery cannot be brought in or where it is important to protect valuable natural environments. It is also capable of addressing weak ground conditions (equivalent N value of 0.5 to 2.0) that traditional methods cannot accommodate. This method is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's New Technology Information System (NETIS).

The pin foundation is a method that provides the necessary support for the pillars of a structure by driving small-diameter steel pipes into the ground at an angle through small concrete blocks or brackets. There is no need for excavation or opening of the ground to create a foundation or for the entry of heavy machinery, so the original natural environment and terrain remain intact even after the installation of walkways and other structures. Furthermore, if it becomes necessary to remove the structure for any reason in the future, the foundation pipes can be easily extracted by hand after dismantling the superstructure, resulting in no environmental destruction associated with the removal.
