Using a specially developed high-strength polyurethane resin, we will address issues such as step differences and fluttering that occur in concrete pavement slabs commonly used on highways, as well as fill voids and cavities that have developed under bridge deck slabs, all without breaking the existing concrete pavement and within a short construction period. Injecting polyurethane resin will also improve the loosening of the subgrade. Additionally, it enables the lifting of joints with polyurethane resin along with the bearing slab, fundamentally solving the correction of step differences at joint areas, which traditionally required excavation and long-term continuous restrictions or road closures.

Free membership registration■The cargo in the warehouse is not stacked straight. ■There are uneven surfaces that hinder the movement of forklifts. ■The racks and other equipment are tilted. ■The floor vibrates. ■Abnormal behavior is observed in the automatic racks. ■The transport robot has stopped. The "Upcon Method" quickly resolves issues caused by floor tilting and sagging due to earthquakes or ground subsidence, as well as voids and gaps that have formed beneath the floor, using polyurethane resin. 【What is the Upcon Method?】 Small holes with a diameter of 16mm are drilled into the existing concrete floor that has subsided, and while constantly monitoring the level in millimeter increments, polyurethane resin is injected. The resin injected beneath the floor expands under pressure in a short time, compacting and strengthening the ground, improving bearing capacity, and pushing up the concrete to correct it. The final strength of the resin is achieved in about 60 minutes. Additionally, if voids have formed beneath the floor, they are filled using the same method. Since the correction is made without demolishing the existing concrete floor, the construction period is significantly reduced compared to conventional methods. The polyurethane can lift the floor with a foaming pressure of up to 10 tons per square meter, eliminating the need to move heavy equipment or products. The floor deformation is corrected without stopping operations.

Free membership registrationDue to the impact of the Great East Japan Earthquake, the floor inside the store has significantly sunk. As a result of the floor sinking, gaps were observed between the floor and walls, as well as between the walls and ceiling. Therefore, our company carried out repair work. The 'Upcon Method', which can be implemented at night during the business closure, was adopted for the repairs. Additionally, voids were observed under the floor, so filling work was also conducted. 【Construction Overview】 ■ Construction Area: Approximately 2,300 m2 ■ Maximum Settlement: 144 mm ■ Construction in 2012, completed in 11 nights of continuous work *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationA large shopping center experienced significant floor subsidence due to weak ground. Gaps were observed in various places, such as between the floor and walls and between the walls and ceiling, caused by the floor subsidence. As a result, our company implemented repairs. The "Upcon Method," which can be executed at night during the business closure, was adopted for the repairs. To expedite the construction period, we utilized two construction plant vehicles and completed the repairs over 25 nights. 【Construction Overview】 ■ Construction Area: Approximately 3,240m2 (Backyard 405m2, Store Interior 2,835m2) ■ Maximum Subsidence: 94mm ■ Repairs completed over 25 nights ■ Two construction plant vehicles used to expedite the construction period For more details, please feel free to contact us via the PDF download or inquiry form.

Free membership registration□ Store fixtures and product racks are tilted □ Shopping carts move on their own □ Luggage and products are not stacked straight □ Gaps have formed in the floor, walls, and ceiling □ Cracks have appeared in the floor The issues caused by floor subsidence, tilting, and unevenness will be resolved by "Subsidance Correction Specialist Upcon." With the Upcon method, polyurethane resin is injected under the existing concrete floor, and the pressure from the foam strengthens the ground and lifts the floor. In principle, there is no need to demolish the existing floor, and there is no need to move heavy product racks or store fixtures, significantly shortening the construction period compared to conventional methods. Additionally, we can accommodate construction limited to nighttime outside of business hours, allowing for the correction of floor subsidence without stopping operations.

Free membership registrationThis is a case study of floor sinking correction work and void filling work conducted at a warehouse and factory located in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Due to floor sinking, the racks used for storing goods had become tilted. As a temporary measure, spacers were used under the racks to adjust their height and level them. The sinking correction work was carried out in a limited space, and within a few hours, the floor was made flat. Additionally, sinking correction work was performed in the office without interrupting the customer's operations. [Case Study] - Total construction area: Approximately 334 m² - Maximum sinking amount: 105 mm - Construction period: 3 days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case of floor vibration suppression work carried out at the T Printing Company factory located in Miyagi Prefecture. In a factory where a machine weighing approximately 26 tons is placed, the floor began to vibrate after the earthquake. To assess the situation before installing the machine, we conducted core drilling at several locations. As a result, we confirmed that there was a gap of up to approximately 180mm beneath the concrete. We performed gap filling work, which allowed us to restore the original performance of the concrete floor and suppress the floor vibrations. Additionally, we also carried out floor subsidence correction work at the T Industry factory located in Miyagi Prefecture. 【Case Study】 <Floor Vibration Suppression Work at T Printing Company Factory in Miyagi Prefecture> ■ Construction: (Phase 1) July 2011, (Phase 2) October 2011 ■ Maximum Gap Size: Approximately 180mm ■ Total Construction Area: Approximately 160m2 ■ Actual Working Days: 1.5 days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of floor sinking correction work and subfloor void filling work carried out at a bag manufacturing factory located in Miyagi Prefecture. The bag-making machines, which were neatly installed, were tilted due to floor sinking, causing disruptions in production. As a temporary measure, adjustable legs were placed under the machines to level them, allowing work to continue. Consequently, the company requested a correction that could be done quickly without removing the machines, and we proceeded with the work. In addition to the floor sinking, voids were also observed under the floor, so filling work was also carried out. 【Case Study】 ■ Construction Area: Approximately 730m2 ■ Maximum Sinking Amount: Approximately 110mm ■ Construction Period: 3 days *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration【Correction of Floor Deflection in Upcon】 For existing concrete floors that have experienced settlement, unevenness, tilting, or gaps, small holes with a diameter of 16mm are drilled, and polyurethane resin is injected while continuously monitoring the level in millimeter increments. The resin injected beneath the floor expands rapidly under pressure, compacting and reinforcing the ground, improving bearing capacity, and pushing the concrete back to a level position. With a compressive strength of over 36.3 tons/m², it is suitable for warehouses storing large machinery and heavy loads. We have numerous successful cases in precision machinery factories, semiconductor factories, metal processing factories, automotive parts factories, paper warehouses, logistics centers, supermarkets, home improvement stores, electronics stores, convenience stores, and more!
