The cleaning frequency of the intake screen at our company has decreased, significantly reducing the maintenance burden!

When taking water from rivers, it is necessary to implement measures to prevent debris such as gravel and fallen leaves from flowing in along with the water. Cleaning is challenging, especially in locations where the water source is deep in the mountains and difficult to access by vehicle. In particular, during late autumn when fallen leaves increase, the frequency of cleaning doubles, further increasing the maintenance burden. Our surface water intake device, the "WSS Water Screen," addresses these issues. By installing it on existing weirs, the frequency of cleaning at the intake point decreases even during the leaf-fall season, significantly reducing the maintenance burden. 【Issues that can be resolved】Sand flows into the filtration pond of the drinking water supply facility, making cleaning difficult.

Install a portable small sedimentation tank after the water intake facility to suppress the inflow of sand into the filtration area!

In small-scale water supply facilities such as drinking water supply systems, there may be cases where sedimentation basins cannot be secured after taking water from surface water sources like rivers. Large amounts of sediment flow into the filtration facilities, leading to filter clogging and causing equipment failures, which increases maintenance burdens such as sludge removal work in sedimentation and filtration basins, as well as repair costs for the equipment. To address these issues, our company has developed and started selling a portable small sedimentation tank, "GCP-AK-25M," which can be manually transported. It is installed downstream of the water intake facility to suppress the inflow of sand into the filtration area. With a surface loading rate of 163 mm/min, it can effectively remove sand particles larger than 0.1 mm, thereby reducing the inflow of sediment into the filtration facilities.
