In small-scale water supply facilities such as drinking water supply systems, there may be cases where sedimentation basins cannot be secured after taking water from surface water sources like rivers. Large amounts of sediment flow into the filtration facilities, leading to filter clogging and causing equipment failures, which increases maintenance burdens such as sludge removal work in sedimentation and filtration basins, as well as repair costs for the equipment. To address these issues, our company has developed and started selling a portable small sedimentation tank, "GCP-AK-25M," which can be manually transported. It is installed downstream of the water intake facility to suppress the inflow of sand into the filtration area.
