Stabilize water intake with WSS water screens! No clogging and no need for backwashing.
Until now, we had been using riverbed-embedded porous pipes for water intake, and the intake volume had gradually decreased due to clogging and sediment accumulation. As a result, it was necessary to perform backwashing every 3 to 4 days during good weather and each time during rainfall, which placed a significant burden on the maintenance of the water source. By adopting the "WSS Water Screen," clogging has been eliminated, and the need for backwashing has been removed, allowing us to stably secure sufficient intake volume. In Toyota City, there are more than 20 installations throughout the city, contributing to stable water intake.
