The "Eco-GEO Method" we employ is a ground improvement technology that allows for stable quality crushed stone ground improvement work even in narrow sites. By using the "EG Casing," we prevent the collapse of the borehole walls, and through the crushed stone compaction method, we ensure stable quality without relying on the operator's skill, enabling quick construction with simple operations. Additionally, we offer two types: the "Dewatering Type," which discharges excavated soil, and the "No Dewatering Type," which does not produce any excavated soil. 【Features】 ■ No waste is generated ■ Since no artificial materials are left underground, it is less likely to decrease the land's asset value ■ Strength does not deteriorate ■ Liquefaction countermeasures during earthquakes ■ Two types available: dewatering and no dewatering *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where our residential crushed stone ground improvement work, the "Eco Geo Method," was adopted as a liquefaction countermeasure in public works in areas affected by liquefaction during the Great East Japan Earthquake. In conventional technology, the construction of crushed stone piles required for liquefaction countermeasures was difficult without large machinery. Our technology allows for the construction of "homogeneous crushed stone piles" required for liquefaction countermeasures through "casing." In the future, it can be applied not only to the recovery and reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas but also to liquefaction countermeasure works for residential and public projects nationwide. [Case Overview] ■ Project: Liquefaction countermeasure work for public housing ■ Project Details: Crushed stone pile installation depth of approximately 4.0m, quantity of about 750 piles ■ Client: Abiko City, Chiba Prefecture ■ Construction Period: December 2013 to January 2014 (approximately 1 month) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIf there are items buried underground from ground improvement work or if the soil is contaminated, the costs for their removal may be deducted from the land price, potentially leading to a decrease in land value. Land is an important asset for individuals and corporations. Ground improvement work is crucial for supporting buildings, but it may impact the value of the land in the future. Recently, more people are considering future removal when conducting ground improvement work. *For more details, you can view the related links. Please feel free to contact us for more information.*

Free membership registrationThe Eco-GEO method is a replacement method rather than a support pile method. The weight supported by the "crushed stone reinforcement body" is distributed underground, so it does not require a solid foundation at the tip, and in many cases, the design length is shorter than that of conventional solid piles. Therefore, depending on the ground conditions, it may be possible to reduce the overall construction cost compared to other methods. 【Features】 ■ Supports the weight of the building with both the "crushed stone reinforcement body" and the "original ground" ■ Does not require a solid foundation at the tip ■ In many cases, the design length is shorter than that of conventional solid piles ■ Depending on the ground conditions, it may be possible to reduce the overall construction cost compared to other methods *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe "Eco-GEO Method" is an environmentally friendly ground improvement technology developed through joint research between Mie University and Onabe Group, which uses only "crushed stone" without the need for cement or steel pipe piles. It can be utilized for ground improvement work for residential buildings and small civil engineering structures. Furthermore, in September 2013, "Eco-GEO ZERO," which can be constructed without soil disposal, was born, making it possible to carry out construction in urban areas without disposal sites. It does not require cement plants, generators, or compressors that were necessary for conventional ground improvement work, and it allows for construction using a compact ground improvement machine (8-ton class) equipped with a uniquely developed EG casing (a steel tube with a rubber door) and a backhoe. The EG casing is driven into the ground, and crushed stone is filled and compacted into the space created during the extraction process. Since a compact ground improvement machine (approximately 2.0m wide) is used, it can be constructed even in narrow spaces. [Registered technology in the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's 2012 Technical Matching Database for Know-how and Technology Transfer Support Project] For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
