We would like to introduce a case study of the geothermal heat facility implemented at Hirakawa Nursery. The nursery experienced other facilities that have adopted the "GEO Power System" in advance and utilized the "Fiscal Year 2014 Supplementary Budget for Accelerating the Use of Renewable Energy Heat Utilization Support Fund" to implement a geothermal heat ventilation system in classrooms for children aged 0 to 3 years. Staff at the nursery have expressed their satisfaction, stating, "The air in the room feels refreshingly pleasant" and "There are no lingering odors in the room." [Case Overview] - Completion: March 2016 - Type: Multifunctional ventilation system (with thermal storage) - GEO Pipes: 2 (Φ380) - Total Floor Area: 758.6 m² - GEO Target Area: 125.5 m² Published in the GEO Power System newsletter "Wind of the Earth," Issue 319. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe service-equipped housing for the elderly, Ken Seikan, was selected for the FY 2011 project "Service-Equipped Housing for the Elderly" (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism) and opened in October 2012. It has become one of the largest facilities in Asakura City, Fukuoka Prefecture, attracting attention. By creating a comfortable nursing facility with good air quality, we hope to encourage elderly residents who tend to stay in their rooms to come out and interact. To this end, we introduced the "GEO Power System" in the day service area on the first floor. This system was adopted to consider users who are sensitive to air conditioning, reduce the unique odors of nursing facilities, and lower running costs by reducing the load on the air conditioning. Staff members have expressed surprise, saying, "The air in the day service area is fresh," and "I don't notice any food odors." [Case Overview] ■ Purpose: Consideration for users who are sensitive to air conditioning, reduction of unique odors in nursing facilities, and reduction of running costs by decreasing air conditioning load. ■ Completion: September 2012 Published in the GEO Power System newsletter "Wind of the Earth" No. 274 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationAlthough air conditioning was installed in the regular classrooms of schools during the summer, there were concerns about the increase in electricity costs due to higher power consumption, as well as issues related to hygiene for students. **Issues:** - Increase in electricity costs due to higher power consumption - Measures for hygiene concerning PM2.5, yellow sand, pollen, viruses, and dust affecting students To keep the air in classrooms clean, maintain students' health, and ensure a safe school life, the 'GEO Power System' has been introduced in all regular classrooms (49 classrooms) of all elementary and junior high schools. By using this system in conjunction with air conditioning, efforts are being made to reduce power consumption and control electricity costs, and it is also expected to provide opportunities for environmental education for students. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.* Published in the newsletter "Wind of the Earth," Issue 329.

Free membership registrationThe Tsushima City Hidakatsu Children's Garden is a two-story wooden building with a total floor area of 998.50 m², featuring a bright structure that exudes the warmth of wood. After seeing articles in the case studies of the "GEO Power System" highlighting that "children can engage in barefoot education even in winter," we decided to introduce the system, expecting benefits in terms of the educational environment and hygiene. We have received positive feedback stating, "For the six months from the completion of the building to the start of use, it was unoccupied, but there was no stagnation in the air inside the building, and it felt clean. We truly experienced the benefits of the Geo Power System." 【Case Overview】 ■ Type: Multifunctional Ventilation System (with heat storage) ■ GEO Pipes: 14 (φ250) ■ Effects: - The air inside the building remained fresh and clean even when unoccupied for six months. - Compared to the old building, activities inside the new building are significantly more comfortable. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us. Free membership registrationAt the factory of Toa Automobile Industry Co., Ltd., in the welding department, which is the main operation, the temperature in the workplace can reach nearly 40°C in the summer, raising concerns about the health risks to employees. [Challenges] - In the welding department, the temperature in the workplace can reach nearly 40°C in the summer, raising concerns about health risks to employees. - Air conditioning is unrealistic considering the installation and running costs. - Although a large water-cooled blower with low costs was considered, it could not be implemented due to concerns about welding flames and rust on iron products caused by humidity. Therefore, it was decided to introduce "Geo Power" with the expectation that a temperature drop of 2-3°C in the welding department would significantly reduce health risks. Due to its low running costs, keeping it on 24 hours a day ensures that when employees arrive, the environment is considerably cooler, thus shortening the duration of high temperatures. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us. Free membership registrationThe newly constructed temple in Wonju City, Gangwon Province, is located at a latitude similar to that of Niigata Prefecture and is in a region with harsh cold. Primarily, the worship area and rest room have been introduced as part of the "Geo Power System," and considering the low temperatures in winter, six heat pumps have been installed. Due to delays in operation compared to the initial plan, it was not possible to demonstrate the effects during extreme heat and cold periods, but it is expected to perform as designed in the future. 【Case Overview】 ■ Completion: July 2021 ■ Type: Outdoor Air Processing System (No Thermal Storage) ■ GEO Pipes: 12 (Φ380) + Heat Pump (Toshiba) 6 sets *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us. Free membership registrationAt Kaniyama Children's Garden, unlike the Pacific side, we believe it is difficult to benefit from solar energy during the cold winter, and we have been exploring systems that utilize natural energy. Through air circulation, we can maintain clean air, which I think is a suitable system for the children's garden, so we introduced the "Geo Power System." During the hot summer months, we are able to spend comfortably in low humidity and refreshing air by utilizing the EHP integrated into the system. Additionally, we particularly appreciate its benefits in winter, gradually raising the temperature settings for the heat storage layer once we start to feel the chill. [Reasons for Implementation] - There is a heat storage layer under the floor, allowing for comfortable air conditioning in the space where the children are. - By utilizing late-night hours for heat storage, we also expect to achieve peak power cut effects. - Air circulation helps maintain clean air. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us. Free membership registrationThe "Geo Power System" is a ventilation system designed to utilize nearby natural energy sources such as geothermal heat, proposing a healthy and energy-efficient lifestyle that relies as little as possible on heating and cooling. It is known that geothermal heat at a depth of around 5 meters is relatively cooler in summer and relatively warmer in winter due to the characteristics of the ground. This system has been developed for general residential use to efficiently and cost-effectively utilize geothermal heat at depths of 5 to 7.5 meters through specialized heat exchange pipes. 【Features】 ■ Utilizes geothermal heat ■ Cuts pollen, dust, and dirt by over 80% ■ Enables energy savings and reduction in heating and cooling costs ■ Environmentally friendly with reduced CO2 emissions ■ Promotes health by preventing extreme temperature differences within the building *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
