Geothermal Facility Case Study: Dongdo Seon Temple (Wonju City, Gangwon Province, South Korea)
Six heat pumps installed considering the drop in temperature during winter! Introduced in the worship area and break room.
The newly constructed temple in Wonju City, Gangwon Province, is located at a latitude similar to that of Niigata Prefecture and is in a region with harsh cold. Primarily, the worship area and rest room have been introduced as part of the "Geo Power System," and considering the low temperatures in winter, six heat pumps have been installed. Due to delays in operation compared to the initial plan, it was not possible to demonstrate the effects during extreme heat and cold periods, but it is expected to perform as designed in the future. 【Case Overview】 ■ Completion: July 2021 ■ Type: Outdoor Air Processing System (No Thermal Storage) ■ GEO Pipes: 12 (Φ380) + Heat Pump (Toshiba) 6 sets *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
