GPS-based embankment leveling and compaction management system
Based on the location information obtained from GPS, it provides the operator with real-time data on the number of passes and planar position of the vibratory roller in the construction area, while automatically recording the construction history. This ensures reliable construction management and labor-saving compared to traditional manual methods or pass counters.
***Features***
- By managing the number of passes, it allows for a comprehensive management of the entire embankment area, leading to improved quality.
- The mesh size for management can be changed as needed (the standard specification by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is 50 centimeters). The number of compaction passes is determined, and the specified number of passes is performed. Different colors are displayed for each number of passes, allowing for immediate understanding of the compaction status and enabling a swift transition to the next layer of embankment, thus shortening the construction process.
- By managing the number of compaction passes, it prevents over- or under-compaction. The operator can understand the number of passes through the color on the monitor of the onboard computer, which helps prevent over- or under-compaction.
