Resin processing: Manufacturing MC nylon rollers with a short lead time using lathe processing!

Introducing a case of manufacturing rollers using plastic resin materials with a lathe! We take into account the characteristics of the material and strive to meet requests for tolerances and distortions as much as possible.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we manufacture rollers using plastic resin materials on lathes. By changing the material compared to conventional rollers, we can create products with higher durability. Rollers for industrial machinery related to the automotive industry often have relatively simple shapes, and those with cutouts tend to be more expensive. Additionally, MC nylon (monomer cast nylon) is commonly used in areas requiring mechanical strength (impact resistance) and is widely available, making it a versatile choice. Our company utilizes NC lathe processing (Okuma) and often works on R-shaped processing that does not have standard specifications. Furthermore, unlike general-purpose machines, there are no tool costs, allowing us to respond relatively inexpensively even for small lots. Our inspection method involves checking the received drawings with a checkmark and recording actual measurements for areas with tolerances. We flexibly accommodate various requests and conditions from our customers. Additionally, we strive to respond to payment conditions and situations where drawings are not available. Since our establishment in 1971, we have been in operation, so please consult with us once! *For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.

Introduction of a case study on NC lathe machining of plastic resin guide rollers.

Leave the cutting and processing to the experts! We will accommodate your processing needs as closely as possible to your desired conditions, taking into account the characteristics of the raw materials, such as tolerances, distortion, warping, and burrs.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we manufacture guide rollers made of plastic resin. Since chip processing is difficult, the waste itself becomes industrial waste, so by outsourcing, you don't have to worry about post-processing. Additionally, for small lots, we often process R shapes that do not have standard products through NC machining, which does not incur tool costs unlike general-purpose machines. = Useful Information = The "rollers" for automotive-related industrial machinery often have relatively simple shapes, and those with meat removal processing tend to be more expensive. Furthermore, high molecular polyethylene (HHMW, Tybar, Newlight, Ulmora) is an excellent material for wear resistance, but it is on the softer side among resins and can leave marks if pressed hard with a nail. Our company can also accommodate items with a high production volume. For mass-produced items, we respond to requests for cost and delivery time more efficiently by managing machine operating rates and adjusting shifts. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
