Brass Dutch Oven Insert (Standard Type) "HSD"
This is an insert used after resin molding.
The brass duct insert (standard type) "HSD" is designed to insert an insert nut into a formed hole during molding using press-fitting and thermal press-fitting methods to create threads. It features an insert nut that expands after molding, with a tip that has a cross-slit knurling and a shape that is constricted with an expansion plate inside. It is pressed into the resin hole from the tip of the knurling, and by pushing down the expansion plate with a punch, the tip expands outward, allowing the knurling to grip firmly into the resin. Therefore, it can be used even when the boss thickness is relatively thin. Additionally, because it uses an expansion method, it can accommodate a wide range of applications regardless of the material of the counterpart. For more details, please download the catalog.
