This is a case study of the installation of a deodorization tank at a pig farm in Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

We would like to introduce a case study of the installation of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," made from crushed and sintered waste glass, as a deodorizing material for pig farms. This system deodorizes the odors generated from pig manure processed through composting. The implementation is based on research results from the Tottori Prefectural Livestock Experiment Station. Microorganisms settle in the bubbles of Super Sol, allowing them to decompose and deodorize the odors. It is inorganic, maintains its structure over the long term, and is economical with only minimal watering and electricity costs for maintenance. We would like to introduce a case study of the application of "Super Sol," an artificial lightweight material made from crushed and sintered waste glass, used as a soil improvement material in planting work. It was utilized as a soil improvement material for low shrub azalea planting near the intersection of National Route 17 (Ageo Road). It has been adopted as an inorganic soil improvement material registered with NETIS. Compared to natural mineral foams, it generates less dust during construction, allowing work to proceed even on somewhat windy days. This project involved embankment work associated with the construction of a new road. As a countermeasure for soft ground, it was necessary to lighten the embankment for the protection of box culverts and to address differential settlement, leading to the use of the environmentally friendly material Super Sol. We will introduce a construction case study of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," made from crushed and sintered waste glass. Improvement work on National Route 2. Super Sol, which can reduce weight, was used as the infill material for the U-shaped retaining wall. Lightweight materials were considered to reduce the load on the underground passage and waterway crossing under the national road.
