We would like to introduce a construction example of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," made from crushed and sintered waste glass. This example pertains to the backfill of a retaining wall. In the auxiliary work for the bridge, Super Sol, which has high permeability, was applied as river embankment material. We would like to introduce a case study of the construction of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," made from crushed and sintered waste glass. This case involves the use of L2 and L4 behind a retaining wall. Super Sol was adopted for the access road (sidewalk) of the bridge. This is a case of road improvement work on City Road No. 3225 in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

We would like to introduce a construction case study of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," made from crushed and sintered waste glass, used in the "Tsunami Evacuation Road Widening Project." In this disaster prevention project, a narrow coastal road was widened to serve as a tsunami evacuation route, and Super Sol was adopted as backfill material for the retaining wall. The lightweight Super Sol was effective in reducing soil pressure, allowing for a thinner retaining wall.
