Hybrid cell construction method

It is a hybrid cell construction method.

The "3D geocell," which is a three-dimensional shape formed by high-frequency pressure bonding of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) sheets, becomes a new concept structure by "confining" the soil within the cells. The embossed surface of the hybrid cell is the source of the confining force. The hybrid cell structure remains stable for a long time using the same mechanism that stabilizes natural terrain, where plant roots intertwine with the "holes" on the surface.

Road bridge pavement reinforcement and deck waterproofing GGRW method

Integration of road bridge pavement reinforcement and deck waterproofing work NETIS No. KK-220072-A NEXCO Grade 1 compliant

The reduction in durability of RC road bridges is influenced by the durability of RC slabs and asphalt pavements, which are interrelated factors. Fatigue caused by wheel loads accumulates fatigue in the RC slabs and asphalt pavement surfaces, leading to cracking. The intrusion of rainwater and de-icing agents from these cracks is believed to accelerate the deterioration of the RC road bridge structure. Therefore, the waterproofing effect and durability of slab waterproofing are emphasized. Additionally, the quick release from the public facility of road bridges during renovation work is also an important perspective. The road bridge pavement reinforcement waterproofing system "GGRW Method" developed this time suppresses cracking in the pavement, minimizes damage to the waterproof layer, and allows for quick release. It significantly improves the film strength of conventional asphalt coating waterproof materials and addresses the adhesion issues between resin-based coating waterproof materials and asphalt pavements. A sheet membrane with continuity that integrates waterproofing and reinforcement is created on-site, effectively bonding the pavement and slab with good adhesion to demonstrate its effectiveness in slab waterproofing methods.

Resource Recycling Greenery Construction - Dale Chip Method

Connecting the life of trees to natural regeneration... The Dale Chip method circulates the blessings of nature.

This is a resource-circulating greening method that chips wood, stumps, bamboo, and other materials generated on-site to use as the main material for growth substrates. Since raw chips can be used directly, there is no need to dispose of on-site generated materials as industrial waste, eliminating the need for processes or yards to compost the raw chips prior to greening, which reduces costs. Furthermore, because it does not require the removal of on-site generated materials or the composting of chips, it can reduce CO2 emissions.

Strongly acidic soil countermeasure construction - Alplus method

Protecting plants from acid rain and strongly acidic soil using recycled shell materials.

This is a resource recycling greening method that uses shell remedy (crushed shell material) made from shells generated in coastal facilities and aquaculture industries to restore vegetation in strongly acidic soils (pH 4.0 or lower). Depending on the presence of spring water from the underlying ground, two types are selected: the corrective material mixing type and the corrective layer construction type. If there is no spring water from the underlying ground, the "corrective material mixing type" is applied, where shell remedy is mixed into the growth substrate and sprayed. If there is spring water from the underlying ground, the "corrective layer construction type" is applied, where an acidic corrective layer using shell remedy is constructed, and the growth substrate is sprayed on top for greening. When greening strongly acidic soils with a pH of 4.0 or lower, if measures against acidic soils are not taken, plants will be directly affected by hydrogen ions, and there will be indirect negative impacts due to changes in soil components and soil microbial dynamics. Therefore, when strongly acidic soils appear, it is difficult to maintain or restore vegetation with standard greening work, and it is necessary to consider the application of the Alplus method as a measure against strongly acidic soils.

Resource Recycling Green Construction - Recycle Earth Green Method

Create a durable growth substrate suitable for the germination and growth of plants using locally sourced soil, while also contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions at a low cost.

This is a resource-circulating greening method that uses site-generated soil, such as excavated soil and collapsed earth, as the main material for the growth substrate. By combining a unique adjustment technology for site-generated soil at the construction plant with a spraying method that uses a granulation agent solution in the water, up to 80% of the growth substrate can be made from site-generated soil. Using site-generated soil as the main material reduces CO2 emissions associated with the transportation of earth and minimizes the use of growth substrate materials that produce CO2 during the production process at the factory. It also creates a low-cost growth substrate with a granular structure suitable for plant germination and growth, and high erosion resistance. In traditional methods, using site-generated soil as the main material required it to be made into a slurry, as in the case of imported soil spraying work. However, the Recycling Earth Green Method allows for the omission of wire mesh installation and enables the spraying of a growth substrate made from site-generated soil at a thickness of 3 to 10 cm or more by employing 1) a unique adjustment method for site-generated soil, 2) the mixing of short fibers, and 3) using the granulation agent solution as water. The Recycling Earth Green Method can accommodate a wide range of greening purposes, from rapid greening to natural recovery greening using domestically produced native species.

Wire mesh omission countermeasure construction - Non-Rus Green method

Vegetation substrate spraying work that achieved shortened construction periods, cost reduction, labor saving, and reduced CO2 emissions due to the omission of wire mesh installation.

This construction method involves directly spraying a high-quality organic growth substrate "Orgasoil" mixed with a reinforcement material "Non-Ras Fiber" and a thickening adhesive "Non-Ras Bond" onto the ground, thereby eliminating the need for wire mesh installation (Ras installation) while enhancing erosion resistance and strength. Although the wire mesh omission method has been developed and adopted in various regions across the country, it had the drawback of the growth substrate peeling off due to weather and site conditions when the spray thickness was thin. This method significantly improves the durability of the growth substrate through the use of the newly developed "Non-Ras Bond" and "Non-Ras Fiber," addressing the shortcomings of conventional techniques.

Long-distance high-rise vegetation substrate spraying work - High Green Shot Method

Long-distance high elevation vegetation substrate spraying method targeting slopes with a vertical height of 80m or more, where market unit prices do not apply.

This method enables spraying in sites with a vertical height of over 80 meters, which was difficult with conventional vegetation substrate spraying methods. It has a proven track record of long-distance and high-elevation construction, with at least 700 meters of pumping distance and a vertical height of 160 meters, eliminating the need for temporary spraying plant yards or cableways for transporting materials. This method is particularly suitable for greening disaster recovery work in areas affected by landslides due to heavy rainfall, where the installation of temporary scaffolding is challenging. Additionally, this method can accommodate various greening objectives, ranging from rapid greening using non-native herbaceous plants to natural recovery greening with native species (herbaceous and woody plants) and the use of locally sourced seeds for regional seedling utilization.

Natural Invasion Promotion Work - New Remi Forest Method

A natural invasion promotion work that combines a highly durable growth substrate (high durability substrate) and a seed fixation promotion net (Seed Catcher V2).

This construction method combines a high-durability substrate that is highly resistant to erosion and does not mix seeds, with a seed fixation promotion net called "Seed Catcher V2," which efficiently captures seeds that fly in from the surrounding area. This allows for the rapid natural invasion of surrounding vegetation even on uneven rock slopes. The natural invasion promotion method utilizes the inherent recovery potential of nature for greening, aiming for vegetation through plants that invade from the surrounding area without bringing in plant materials (such as seeds or seedlings) from other regions. This helps avoid disruption of local genetic diversity. Therefore, it can be applied in greening projects in areas with high environmental conservation standards, such as national parks, where obtaining local seeds (seeds collected from the construction site area or seedlings grown from them) may be difficult. Additionally, this method is effective in cases where it is challenging to introduce vegetation through seeding or planting on sloped areas, or when the scale of the slope is relatively small and there are natural forests nearby, providing a close source of seeds.
