Measurement of wet paint film thickness. Various measurement ranges are available.
This is a high-precision and user-friendly film thickness gauge with a structure of three overlapping wheels. The central wheel is smaller and eccentric compared to the other two. By rotating the gauge on the wet paint film, the central wheel reads the scale at the point where it touches the film. This value represents the thickness of the film. We also offer a convenient handle, available in two lengths: 15 cm and 50 cm. Please order separately. If the volume ratio of the solid components of the paint (which is generally indicated in the product description of the paint) is known, it is possible to predict the dry film thickness from the wet film thickness. The measurement range varies by model. The narrowest range is 0 to 25 μm, while the widest range is 0 to 1000 μm.
