The precision flow sensor IR-OPFLOW for liquid medication covers a range from 0.1 to 120 L/min across six flow sizes. The wetted parts are made entirely of PVDF due to a unique design, achieving low friction and long lifespan. The output signal is picked up as a photoelectric signal, which is shaped into a rectangular form by a preamplifier before being output. The turndown ratio is wide at 30:1, and there is no need for a rectifying section upstream of the sensor, making it unaffected by installation orientation. The operating temperature range is broad, from -40 to 85°C, and measurement accuracy is available in two types: 1% and 3%. The operating pressure range is up to 1000 kPa at 80°C.
