[Construction Example] On-site large block masonry method "Circular Conback"
The materials are lightweight, making placement and construction easy! Soil-cement filling is adopted, allowing for proper restoration.
We would like to introduce a case where the large block construction method "Circular Conback" was implemented at a forest road collapse site. This site, located deep in the mountains, has frequently experienced collapses of the forest road due to heavy rains and other factors in recent years. Areas repaired with large sandbags deteriorated and collapsed again within a few years, leading to ongoing issues. In the case of repairs using large sandbags, emergency restoration is required, necessitating subsequent removal and full restoration. However, by adopting this method and utilizing locally generated soil and sand for soil-cement filling, it became possible to achieve full restoration immediately. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - Frequent collapses of the forest road due to heavy rains and other impacts - Areas repaired with large sandbags deteriorated within a few years and collapsed again ■ Benefits of Implementation - Lightweight materials make placement and construction easy - Immediate full restoration is possible *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
