Applications/Examples of results
It is used for various applications such as measuring paint thickness, automotive production lines, bridge inspections, and repairs and inspections of plants. This is for magnetic metals. It can measure the thickness of the paint film on metals that adhere to magnets (such as steel, nickel, cobalt, etc.). It cannot measure if the substrate is a diamagnetic material, such as wood, plastic, acrylic, or glass, which cancels out the magnetic field.
