It is also possible to create master curves in tensile, shear, and bending modes other than compression mode!
We would like to introduce the dynamic viscoelastic measurement of polyurethane rubber conducted by Aites Co., Ltd. DMA is an analysis that applies periodic oscillating loads to polymer materials and measures elasticity and viscosity as a function of temperature from the resulting stress and phase difference. In this case, measurements were conducted using cylindrical rubber samples in compression mode. The measurement results indicate a glass transition temperature of -15.7°C, as shown by the temperature dispersion curve of Tan δ, and a master curve was created using the time-temperature superposition principle. Please feel free to contact us for any inquiries. 【Methods of Applying Load】 ■ Tension ■ Compression ■ Bending of a double cantilever beam ■ Free-supported three-point bending ■ Shear (sliding) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
