[Construction Case] Correction Work for Subsidence of Logistics Warehouse - Leveling Adjustment
"A slope was installed due to the formation of a step in the floor." "The floor has sunk, causing cracks." Resolved with the up-construction method.
This time, we will introduce a construction case of a logistics warehouse in Niigata Prefecture. In this logistics warehouse, ground subsidence caused unevenness and cracks in the concrete floor, which hindered the movement of carts and work operations. The Upcon method allows for construction to be carried out without stopping operations and within a short construction period. Additionally, during the injection of polyurethane resin, a surveyor is always present to manage the floor level to the millimeter, ensuring a high-quality finish. 【Site Information】 Niigata Prefecture / Logistics Warehouse Construction Area: 1,148 square meters Maximum Subsidence: 71mm Construction Period: 8 days

basic information
■ What is the Upcon Method? The Upcon method involves drilling small holes with a diameter of 16mm into existing concrete floors that have experienced subsidence, unevenness, tilting, or gaps. While continuously monitoring the level in millimeter increments, polyurethane resin is injected. The resin injected beneath the floor expands rapidly under pressure, compacting and reinforcing the ground, improving the bearing capacity, and lifting the concrete back into position. The final strength of the resin is achieved in about 60 minutes. Additionally, if gaps have formed beneath the floor, they can be filled using the same method. *The polyurethane can lift the floor with a foaming pressure of up to 10 tons per square meter, eliminating the need to move heavy equipment or goods. ■ Features of the Upcon Method 1. Short construction period: The construction time is one-tenth that of conventional methods. 2. No interruption of operations: There is no need to move rack equipment or products. 3. Comprehensive high technical capability: Responsible construction by 100% in-house staff. 4. Compact construction system: Quick restoration of the current state is possible. 5. Reduced risk of re-subsidence compared to conventional methods. We provide total support for on-site surveys, repair planning, and construction, all handled responsibly by our in-house staff. Our specialized and experienced staff will propose the optimal repair plan tailored to your site.
