The modification of asphalt is an important technology related to high-performance asphalt products, and fundamental research in this area is essential for the development of modification techniques. The base asphalt has a complex phase structure composed of multiple components, making the measurement of its physical properties difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to consider various factors when developing measurement methods for the physical property analysis of asphalt and modified asphalt. Our company has contributed to the elucidation of the modification mechanisms of asphalt through collaborative research with universities. Here are some of the results.
