It is a clean foam that does not contain sulfur, which is commonly used in rubber crosslinking and poses a risk of metal corrosion. By not using sulfur, it retains the characteristics of EPDM while reducing the risk of corrosion to metals (such as copper wires on electronic circuit boards). It can be used in high-sealing electronic devices, which are becoming smaller in recent years, for cushioning, soundproofing, and dustproofing without corroding metals.
