The SPU system is a self-climbing large formwork scaffold developed for constructing tall concrete structures such as bridge piers, chimneys, dams, silos, and apartment buildings. It is a system that uses anchors embedded in the concrete as a pivot point to alternately lift the scaffold and formwork using a chain block or crane. Once the scaffold assembled on the ground is fixed to the structure on each side, it will self-climb as a unit on all four sides using an electric chain block. The formwork is adjusted and erected while being suspended from the scaffold by the chain block, allowing for the installation of formwork without distortion or misalignment, ensuring high precision in the construction of the structure. Dismantling can also be done safely by lowering it to the ground.
