We began operations in May 1963 as a manufacturing facility for steel bridges, steel frames, steel towers, and other steel structures. In March 1998, we obtained ISO 9001 certification (registration scope: design, manufacturing, and erection of steel bridges). Our company was founded in 1937 as Takigami Kogyo Co., Ltd. The founding dates back to 1895 when Uchi Takigami started a blacksmith shop in Nagoya, and we celebrated our 100th anniversary in 1995. In September 2014, we shifted our focus to making six affiliated companies into subsidiaries, and this year we are celebrating our 120th anniversary, starting a new chapter as the "Takigami Group of Companies."
