Let's not leave 3K jobs for the next generation. Let's automate polishing and solve the challenges!
FerRobotics ACF, AAK
We will not leave 3K jobs for the next generation. A solution to the shortage of skilled workers. Automated robot polishing that gives industrial robots human-like senses through high-speed autonomous control units for contact force.
FerRobotics' Active Compliant Technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) that occurs during polishing and grinding processes, which require skilled techniques, at high speed. This technology allows for consistent polishing/grinding at a set pressure, unaffected by variations in processing speed or gravitational load differences due to angles. With the end effector (ACF) utilizing ACT technology, it instantly and automatically compensates for changes in dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-planar surfaces through rapid stroke adjustments, maintaining contact with the workpiece at a constant set force. This technology can increase the speed at which machines and robots move along their trajectories, thereby enhancing processing speed and improving cycle times. Additionally, in robotic polishing and grinding, the ACF controls the contact pressure through the expansion and contraction of its stroke, eliminating the need to move the heavy robotic arm for corrections, which further assists in improving processing speed. Furthermore, it automatically compensates for tool load variations caused by gravity changes due to the robot's angle, ensuring a consistent contact pressure from any angle and enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies.

We provide the best solutions for robotic polishing and grinding that equip industrial robots with tactile feedback using our patented Active Compliant Technology (ACT), enabling greater flexibility, reliability, and profitability in manufacturing environments. The ACT, optimized for robots, automatically measures the required pressing force and instantly self-corrects for complex surface shapes, allowing for consistent processing with a constant pressing force. It can also respond to sudden opposing forces, such as when the target workpiece moves. As a standard tool and as a custom package product for special requirements, ACT clearly contributes to efficiency improvements in production processes that have previously been impossible to automate. By experiencing the performance of our ACT solutions, you will immediately feel the results. It brings overwhelming effectiveness to automated polishing and grinding (such as polishing, sanding, grinding, deburring, buffing, and mirror finishing).
