It is a combination of ACF-K and an orbital sander. FerRobotics' Active Compliant Technology automatically corrects the "difference" in contact pressure (force) that occurs during processing at high speed, enabling consistent grinding and polishing at the set pressure, unaffected by variations in processing speed or gravitational load differences due to angles. Using the end effector (ACF) with ACT technology, it quickly and automatically adjusts to changes in the dimensional tolerances, curved shapes, and non-flat surfaces of the workpiece through instantaneous stroke extension and contraction, maintaining contact with the workpiece at the set force. This technology allows for increased speed along the paths of devices and robots, improving processing speed and cycle time. In robotic polishing, it controls the contact pressure through the extension and contraction of the ACF itself, eliminating the need to move the heavy robot arm for corrections, thus assisting in improving the processing speed of robotic polishing. Additionally, it automatically corrects tool load variations caused by changes in gravity due to the robot's angle, ensuring a consistent contact pressure from any angle and enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies.
