For measuring high viscosity, crystallized, or contaminated media, the use of an open flange is recommended. The measurement system using diaphragm elements has a design that allows the diaphragm to support itself against the upper flange, providing good protection against overload. As a standard specification, it is equipped with a safety margin for overpressure of five times the full-scale value.
