[Field Report] Measures Against Odor Emissions from Painting Booths in a Paint Factory (Demonstration Available)

We would like to introduce a case study on the deodorizing effect test of our deodorant (Yume Shota SH200) as a measure against exhaust odors from the painting booth in a painting factory. Although a painting booth has been installed, we received complaints from nearby residents and were asked by a certain painting booth manufacturer to conduct a deodorization demonstration test as a matter of urgency. Therefore, we first extended the existing exhaust outlet with an aluminum flexible duct to draw in the odors using a line fan, and installed a deodorizing spray box (demo unit) at the suction point. As a result, the odor measurement results were reduced to below the standard value.
