One of the unique characteristics of this site is the harsh weather conditions. In addition to the winter shutdown period, there are days when winds comparable to typhoons blow, leading to downtime, which needed to be anticipated in the schedule. In such circumstances, there was a necessity for construction methods that could shorten the construction period.

(Customer Feedback) The construction workers had little experience with system formwork, but since special tasks were not required for the assembly, and it was basically repetitive work, we were able to start the work without any particular issues by having the sales representatives and construction instructors from PERI provide training in advance. While the systematized product allowed for increased efficiency, there were also challenges related to the inherent weaknesses of system formwork, specifically its lack of flexibility. For example, since the pitch of the tie rods is fixed, there are indeed parts where it is not as easy to avoid obstructions as it is with traditional methods. In such cases, we were able to find solutions by consulting with the technical staff and construction instructors from PERI and modifying the components as needed.
