The "Mecasera System" is also introduced as an odor removal and sludge reduction enhancement equipment for JARUS-type wastewater treatment facilities in agricultural and fishing villages. Catalysts (ceramics/mechasera balls) are placed inside a cylindrical SUS304 packing tower, and a sodium hypochlorite solution with a concentration of 12% is dripped in from a chemical injection unit into circulating water. These three components come into contact with each other in the water of the packing tower to generate "Mecasera Water." The resulting product significantly enhances the oxidative decomposition power of "active oxygen" against organic substances in chlorine. The main business of SGM Corporation, the "Mecasera System," was developed in 1983 through joint research with Tohoku University. The core technology of this system is the superoxide ion generation method, which is aimed at water quality purification treatment of waste oil and other substances, as well as deodorization, water quality purification, and sludge reduction of sewage and domestic wastewater in agricultural communities and sewer systems. The water purification quality is remarkably stable and low-cost, requiring no modifications to existing equipment, and it can be used semi-permanently as a reliable and robust product.
