The "High Bearing Capacity Pile Method (H・B・M)" enables the reduction of pile diameter and the number of piles used through high bearing capacity pile design, achieving a shortened construction period for foundation work and a reduction in excavated soil. By adopting HB piles with enlarged diameters, it obtains the specified values of the astonishingly high bearing capacity coefficients α, β, and γ (as per the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Notification No. 1113).
