The "Kainigata Park Skateboard Park" located in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, was established over 20 years ago. It features a main park with a bank surface and a quarter pipe, covering approximately 1000m2. It is a well-known park with a long history in Japan. However, due to its location next to a riverbed, the ground has been prone to movement, resulting in a surface that was heavily damaged and in need of repairs. Despite this, many people continue to come and skate, and it is loved by enthusiasts from all over the country. For the existing repair areas, special repair materials were used, and a large American-made grinding machine was employed to grind down the rough concrete surface. The quarter pipe and bank surface were hand-ground using a handheld grinder. A smooth surface was created, and further improvements were made with a penetrating surface hardener "Seal Hard" and a water absorption inhibitor "Aqua Pel Plus" to enhance wear resistance and rainwater durability. Finally, a test run was conducted on the skateboard to ensure proper grip. The surface not only returned to a smooth finish but was also completed as a long-lasting surface with wear resistance and rainwater durability! The Kyoto City Skateboard Association expressed their excitement, saying, "This surface is amazing!" Many skaters came during the opening, and we received numerous voices of joy!

The "Seal Hard Skate Park Specification" is a construction method product provided through the following steps 1 to 4. [Patent pending] ◆1. Concrete Grinding (for renovation only) The roughened concrete surface is shaved down to remove surface irregularities. ◆2. Concrete Polishing For newly installed concrete: Smooth out trowel marks, trowel lines, and fine irregularities on the surface to create a smooth surface without roughness. For renovated concrete: Further smooth out grinding marks and fine irregularities from the surface that has been made even in the previous step, creating a smooth surface without roughness. ◆3. Penetrating Surface Hardener Seal Hard This is a concrete surface hardener that "penetrates" rather than "coats." It provides strong dust resistance and wear resistance to the concrete. By not creating a film on the concrete surface and densifying the internal layer, it results in a concrete floor finish that is free from peeling. ◆4. Water Absorption Inhibitor (Water Repellent) Aquapel Plus This is a concrete surface water absorption inhibitor (water repellent) that "penetrates" rather than "coats." By not creating a film on the concrete surface and imparting water-repellent properties to the internal layer, it maintains water absorption inhibition effects for a long time as long as the surface does not wear down.

[Test Run Confirmation] If too much Aqua Pearl Plus is applied, the grip will weaken, causing side slipping during turns. Therefore, a staff member skilled in skateboarding will actually perform a test run on a skateboard to check the resistance while sliding and the grip during turns. If any issues are found during the confirmation, adjustments will be made through re-polishing or other methods.
