The newly introduced Hardox HiTemp steel plate in the Hardox wear-resistant steel plate series demonstrates wear resistance in high-temperature areas that could not be addressed by conventional Hardox wear-resistant steel grades.

Features of Hardox HiTemp Heat-Resistant and Wear-Resistant Steel Plate Excellent High-Temperature Resistance: Maintains excellent hardness at high temperatures up to 500°C, demonstrating high shape stability. Excellent Mechanical Properties: Nominal Hardness: 375–425 HB; Yield Strength: 1100 MPa; Impact Toughness: CVL 60 J (-40°C). Excellent Weldability: Preheating before welding is necessary, but due to the low carbon equivalent, it is suitable even for applications requiring extensive welding. Excellent Bendability: Minimum Bend Radius: R/t = 3 (t < 8; perpendicular to the rolling direction). Excellent Workability: Thermal cutting with gas, laser, etc., is possible; cold cutting such as shearing is also feasible; bending, welding, and machining are possible. Excellent Resistance to Buckling and Hydrogen Cracking: Demonstrates excellent resistance to temperature strains that can cause buckling or cracking. Variety of Grades: Available in several grades, allowing selection according to application. Thickness: 5 mm to 51 mm; Width: 2000 mm to 2500 mm; Length: 6000 mm.
