Waterproof accessory for waterproof pre-cable / Waterproof combination coupling Model WKI [For thick steel conduit connection] ○ This is a waterproof combination coupling designed to connect a waterproof pre-cable to a steel conduit without threads. ○ The connection of the pre-cable tube is of the union type. ○ The tightening of the torque screws is done until the heads break off. ○ A protective cap can be used for the broken head of the torque screw for safety protection. ○ A hexagon screw (made of SUS) can also be installed instead of the torque screw upon special order. ○ WKI is intended for use in cable construction. ○ The tensile strength between the pre-cable tube and the coupling is 500N (JIS C 8461-22 classification code 3 medium). ○ The tensile strength between the conduit and the coupling is 500N for #15 to #30 (JIS C 8461-22 classification code 3 medium) and 1000N for #38 and above (JIS C 8461-22 classification code 4 heavy). ○ New specification: The packing is located on the tip side of the coupling, making it less likely for water to accumulate compared to the conventional design.
