This is a compact precision ball screw with a ball retainer from THK that adopts a tangent direction scoop. It enables high-speed and compact equipment.
A new technology has been adopted that realizes an ideal ball circulation structure in the ball screw nut, enabling smoother rotational motion. The use of a ball retainer has achieved a maximum rotational speed of 5,000 min-1 (DN value: 160,000 MAX). The outer diameter ratio of the nut has been reduced by up to 30%. The dimensions of the nut comply with DIN standards [DIN69051-5]. *As of September 2021, the lineup of SDAN-V shapes has been expanded.
