The SPR/SPS shape has a waviness value of about 1/10 compared to conventional general LM guides (100-300nm). To achieve ultra-low waviness and ultra-high rigidity that surpass conventional LM guides, it employs eight rolling grooves, small diameter balls, and ultra-long blocks. With a significant increase in the number of effective balls, the amplitude caused by the entry and exit of the balls is minimized, achieving ultra-low waviness comparable to static pressure guidance. At the same time, the deformation of the balls is minimized, achieving ultra-high rigidity that surpasses roller guides. This contributes to the high precision of the equipment.
