Measures against condensation in summer! Condensation and corrosion within wall structures are often difficult to detect.

In 2020, the "mandatory energy-saving standards for housing" are scheduled to be implemented, and it is expected that Japanese housing will increasingly aim for high airtightness and high insulation. However, at the same time, measures against condensation during the summer must be considered. In a site where glass wool was filled using the 2x4 construction method and a vapor barrier was installed on the interior side, significant corrosion due to condensation occurred. It is believed that the interior became hot and humid, leading to condensation as it was cooled by the air conditioner on the inside. The hold-down hardware also showed white mold, and if corrosion progresses like this, it will pose problems for the durability of the building. This type of summer condensation particularly occurs in regions with high temperatures and humidity, like Japan. Therefore, it is necessary to implement sufficient measures against winter-type condensation while simultaneously preventing summer-type condensation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Under the floor and in the attic... the "invisible spaces" are being re-evaluated now.

In an era of material shortages and rising material costs, what should we prioritize and protect?

  • Product news

Under the floor and in the attic... "Invisible spaces" are being reconsidered now The environment surrounding the housing industry has changed significantly in recent years. Rising timber prices, increased costs of equipment, a shortage of skilled workers, and prolonged delivery times are not temporary changes but are becoming entrenched as structural changes in the entire housing industry. Furthermore, in recent years, the global surge in resource prices, the depreciation of the yen, and rising logistics costs have compounded the situation, leading to a generally unstable environment for housing-related materials. What was once taken for granted—that "necessary materials can be obtained immediately when needed"—is no longer a given. Additionally, the construction and equipment industries continue to face a serious labor shortage. In particular, the aging of veteran craftsmen who support the field is progressing year by year, while securing young talent is not easy. As a result, situations such as difficulty in scheduling construction dates, longer waiting periods until construction, and limited availability of contractors in certain regions are increasingly common nationwide. In the housing industry, there is a growing sentiment that "construction plans cannot be made with the same sense as before," whether for new builds or renovations, which is becoming the norm across the country. Remote live inspection service

  • Seminar・Event

■Live Inspection Start Our company conducts inspections to provide our clients with a deeper understanding of the effectiveness, safety, and installation information of the products they sell. This includes visits to our simulation studio, experimental laboratory, test house, and production line. By observing the visualization of product effects, safety tests, and durability test scenes, we have received feedback such as "I have gained a deeper knowledge of the products" and "I can confidently propose to end users." We are pleased to announce the launch of our 'Remote Live Inspection Service,' focusing on smoke simulation and security systems, which have been the main features of our inspections. Taking into account feedback such as "I am interested, but it's difficult to come to Fukuoka due to the distance" and "It's challenging to coordinate schedules for multiple people," the content will be a condensed version, but we will provide an interactive explanation similar to what you would experience in person. 【Flow of Remote Inspection】 ■ For underfloor ventilation... Approximately 30 minutes ■ For security... Approximately 20 minutes ■ Q&A... About 10 minutes

Heat dissipation fins for the dehumidifier.

Product condition and underfloor environment of the Dry Pro type-C after approximately 2.5 years of use.

  • Product news

This is a report on the inspection results after approximately two and a half years of using the Dry Pro Type-C in the newly added crawl space (foundation packing method) during the renovation. The inspection results showed that there was no dust or other substances adhering to the heat dissipation fins of the dehumidifier, the dehumidifying fins, the intake of the blower, or the fan that could negatively affect performance. Additionally, there were no foreign substances or dust adhering to the drain hose for dehumidified water or the pump tank that could adversely impact performance, and all components were functioning normally. (Photo: Heat dissipation fins of the dehumidifier) The newly added crawl space was located on the north side in a poorly ventilated area, but no signs of mold or condensation were observed, confirming that a dry state was maintained. Heat management in the shed is urgent!

  • Product news

The heat inside the room may be caused by "heat trapped in the attic." In the summers of 2024 and 2025, extreme heat is expected to be even more severe than usual, with daily temperatures exceeding 35°C becoming the norm. Even with the air conditioning running at full capacity, are you experiencing issues like "the second floor is unusually hot" or "the room temperature doesn't drop even at night"? One of the causes of this is the heat trapped in the attic. When direct sunlight hits the roof, the temperature in the attic can reach nearly 70°C, compared to an outside temperature of 35°C. This heat radiates into the living space, not only raising the indoor temperature but also reducing the efficiency of the air conditioning, which can lead to increased electricity bills and negative health effects. ■ Start now! Efficient heat countermeasures with "attic ventilation" ■ Now is the perfect time to install it ahead of the summer peak ■ Attic ventilation is not just for summer * The attic ventilation system by Kazunosuke 24 is effective not only for summer heat but also for winter condensation prevention. In the 21st century, the way human society exists on a global scale is being questioned. In this era of rapid change, what kind of aspirations should we have when engaging in business? SEIHO's new concept naturally emerged from such inquiries. "Compassion" is the new concept. Rather than pursuing extravagant ideas, we want to delve deeper into a simple concept that everyone can be confident in. We wish to return to our origins to realize this concept. In a time when a diverse array of information is overflowing, misjudging the clear distinction between "purpose" and "means" can render even effective technologies futile. SEIHO will firmly place "principles, fundamentals, and essence" as the axis of our management decisions, learning from the wisdom of past sages while creating genuine technologies and services that benefit society.
